The color of the New Year 2013 has officially been declared by Pantone Color to be emerald. Pantone described the green hue as “Lively. Radiant. Lush… A color of elegance and beauty” (Pantone 17-5641 Emerald). So far various celebrities have been spotted wearing emerald green and emerald gemstone jewelry pieces. Emerald green was definitely trending at the 2013 Golden Globes last night.
